Greeting from Nerissa & Katryna
We were halfway through our tour with the Crackerjack Band when we all
turned to each other and said, "Why stop? This is more fun than we've had
in years!" So watch for more dates. More band dates, that is.
The next FULL BAND date is this SATURDAY at the Paradise in Boston. We love
to play as a duo and there are some places that make that magical- singing
off mic at Sanders Theater in Cambridge MA comes to mind. But there are few
places that are as fun to rock out in as the Paradise. The Paradise is the
reason we wanted to play with a band again. So come this weekend. Send
your friends. I can guarantee a truly Nieldsian experience. Lots of joy,
lots of dancing, lots of silliness and lots of music.
We had the best time in the Midwest. WE LOVE THE MIDWEST!!!!!! Thanks to
all of you who came out and made our trip halfway across the country so very
worth it. We realized on stage in St. Paul that we had released 4 albums
since we had last been there. WE promise not to stay away so long.
Common Rotation shared the bill with us at all of the shows. They are fun
and funny and sweet and if you haven't heard them, we recommend you come to
one of the shows they're on.
Spring is coming. I saw a tiny little bird outside my window this morning.
I'm not one of those bird people who can say, "oh, there's a yellow bellied
sapsucker! Watch out! Here comes a red eared waxbill!" All I know is it
wasn't one of those winter birds. A spring bird, a definite spring bird.
It looked me in the eye and said, "Spring is coming and I am its harbinger."
"Happy spring! Bounce up and down like Tigger!"
