This Town is Wrong on Zoë/Rounder in a store near you!!
Find out where you can purchase it here.
Hello Nields friends and fans,
Greetings from my friendly neighborhood downtown Northampton Starbucks! As
I write this to you, I am drinking a half caf quad grande Americano, and Bob
Dylan's “I Shall Be Released” is wafting over the sound system. An
auspicious omen for the imminent release of our new CD This Town is Wrong.
And when is this CD going to be set free from its shackles and shoeboxes and
warehouses? Glad you asked. This Tuesday, January 13 is the big day. And
how can you get your mitts on a copy? Well, if you are intrepid with your
technological tools, as I am (writing this from a T Mobile Hot Spot and my
powerbook) you can get a copy on about a zillion online places with your
Palm Pilot (with internet access) and a credit card (see below). But wouldn't you
rather get it in a more analogue, friendly, dynamic way? As in at OUR CD
RELEASE PARTY!?! Yes, folks, if you are up for a pilgrimage to downtown
Northampton, just one block away from this very Starbucks from which I
write, you can see Katryna and me play songs off the new CD on Tuesday night
at B Sides Records. The Philadelphia Daily News says the new CD “blows the
stuffing out of the folk rock genre.” I don't know about that, but we do
compel Amelia to tap dance. We will have a splendid time, guaranteed. And
if I play my cards right, the band will take me out for dinner afterwards.
I hope you are well. I hope you are warm. I hope you have blessings to
count and that you are counting them. We are about to hit the proverbial
road once again, and we really hope to see your faces along the way. This
is truly the most exciting of times to be alive, and we wish you luck with
all that you have to do and be.
Happy new year!
Love, Nerissa and Katryna
